Download and print your One-Step Sparring Routine Worksheet

One-step sparring routines need to be memorized prior to testing. It is important to have a good set of routines that are easily recalled by number.  Students can use these worksheets to customize their one-step sparring routine prior to testing.  Know the routines in order, by number.  Repetition and practice is the key to no hesitation during one-step sparring routines on test day!

As students increase their belt level, add the new techniques that they can choose from to the top of the routine worksheet. This will help to advance routines as students get promoted.  Feel free to abbreviate your techniques as you fill in the worksheet.  Some examples of abbreviations include:

  • MP, HP, LP – Middle Punch, High Punch, Low Punch
  • BFS, HFS – Backfist Strike, Hammerfist Strike
  • FK, RK, SK, BSK – Front Kick, Roundhouse Kick, Side Kick, Back Side Kick

Click on the links below to open the PDF, then choose to SAVE it to your computer.  Print it out and fill in your routines!  Keep the previous belt level routines in a folder or binder for reference as you progress through your Tae Kwon Do journey.  They will be valuable to look back on when it comes time for Black Belt promotion testing routines!  Brown Belt with Black Tip require TEN routines, so there are two pages in the PDF.
